Application
Insertion: Fold the DISC along the double rim, insert it towards the cervix, and push the front rim behind the pubic bone. No complicated folding technique is needed, as the DISC finds its position on its own.
Wearing & Emptying: Up to 12 hours of protection. When on the toilet, the DISC empties itself for many women due to its auto-dumping function, as the pelvic floor muscles press against the rim when straining. This only happens in the toilet position, not during sports or squatting. Alternatively, release the front rim with your index finger, pull the DISC out a bit, and let it drain.
Removal: Grasp the DISC by the front double rim, pull it out slowly, empty it, rinse with water, and reinsert.
It rarely works perfectly the first time. Give yourself one or two cycles to practice.
Care & Cleaning
In between uses, rinsing with clear water is sufficient. For thorough cleaning, DISC Tabs gently and reliably remove blood stains and odors.
After each period, pour boiling water over the DISC and let it sit for 5 minutes. Then store it dry, preferably in a zip bag.
Wash your hands thoroughly before each insertion and removal.
