Application

Insertion

Wash your hands thoroughly before use. Fold a PERIOD DISK at the flexible double rim and insert it carefully toward the cervix.

Then, push the front rim behind the pubic bone so the disc sits securely. No complicated folding technique is required. Its flexible shape allows it to adapt to your anatomy.

Wearing and Emptying

The PERIOD DISK S–M can be worn for up to 12 hours. Depending on the intensity of your period, earlier emptying may be necessary.

For many users, the auto-dumping function allows for partial emptying while using the toilet. Through the movement of the pelvic floor muscles, the rim may detach slightly and release menstrual fluid. Whether and when this function occurs varies from person to person.

Alternatively, you can carefully release the front rim with your index finger, pull the disc out slightly, and empty it. Then, check that the disc is once again seated correctly behind the pubic bone.

Removal
