Usage
Insertion
Wash your hands thoroughly before use. Squeeze the rim of a rayne Disc together to form a narrow figure-eight shape. Ensure the finger loop is pointing away from your body.
Get into a relaxed position, such as sitting, squatting, or with one leg on the edge of the bathtub. Gently insert the back rim of the disc into the vagina and use your index finger to push it as far back and down toward your tailbone as possible.
Then, press the front rim upward behind the pubic bone. If the disc is positioned correctly, you should barely feel it.
Removal and Emptying
Wash your hands and sit comfortably on the toilet. Place a finger behind the pubic bone, grasp the finger loop, and pull the disc out slowly and as horizontally as possible.
Empty the menstrual fluid into the toilet. Clean the disc thoroughly before reinserting it.
The rayne Disc can be worn for up to 12 hours. Depending on your menstrual flow, more frequent emptying may be necessary. The manufacturer recommends emptying and cleaning the disc two to three times within 24 hours.
Care & Cleaning
Thoroughly clean the used menstrual disc after emptying, in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. Before first use and between menstrual cycles, it should be sterilized according to the care guidelines.
Tip: Place the rayne Disc inside a whisk when boiling it. This prevents direct contact with the hot bottom of the pot and protects the silicone from damage.
With the 2-pack, you can flexibly alternate the discs and always have a cleaned, spare disc available.
